IOSH Managing Safely acts as a full introduction to Health and Safety, targeted at managers and supervisors.
No pre-requisites but experience of managing the health, safety and
welfare of staff would be advantageous.
The delegate will study the following modules:
- Introducing managing safely
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding responsibilities
- Understanding hazards
- Investigating incidents
- Measuring performance
The course is taught through a variety of theory based
sessions.
Assessment is by means of a multi-choice examination and the successful
completion of a risk assessment based project in the candidate's
workplace.
NEBOSH National General Certificate.
Successful delegates will receive a "Managing Safely" certificate issued by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
